TGA Debuts Mobile Control Center for Public Transport Monitoring in Makkah and Holy Sites

Makkah: The Transport General Authority (TGA) inaugurated, for the first time in this year's Hajj season of 1445 AH, a mobile control and monitoring center equipped with sensors distributed across major roads. This center enables real-time monitoring of public transport vehicles within Makkah and the holy sites, measuring traffic density along the designated routes for pilgrim transportation during Hajj season. Consequently, it allows for the efficient deployment of workforce and field inspectors as needed, in addition to conducting immediate vehicle inspections using 360-degree perimeter cameras at the center. The center, developed by specialized Saudi hands using the latest technologies, represents an integrated technical system linked to all other relevant systems. This system contributes to supporting the decision-making process necessary to ensure the safety and comfort of the pilgrims. Source: Saudi Press Agency
