Lisbon - The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority of Saudi Arabia, Monsha'at, concluded its participation in the Web Summit held in Lisbon, Portugal.

According to Saudi Press Agency, The summit, which took place from November 13 to 16, featured 12 Saudi enterprises, including billion-dollar companies and fast-growing entities like "Tumuh," as part of Monsha'at's delegation. The primary aim was to provide these entrepreneurs with a global platform for growth, business expansion, and the establishment of international connections. Monsha'at's engagement in the Web Summit aligns with its continuous efforts to promote Saudi companies internationally and enable entrepreneurs to expand their networks. Having previously participated in significant events like the COMEUP Global Exhibition in Korea, the Switch exhibition, and Singapore Tech Week, Monsha'at remains committed to fostering collaboration and developing solutions for enterprises across various sectors.

Saudi-Egyptian Trade Partnership Focus of Al-Qasabi’s Visit to Cairo

Riyadh - Saudi Minister of Commerce Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, leading a delegation of nearly 90 prominent businessmen and key figures from major Saudi national companies, met with Egypt's Prime Minister Dr. Mustafa Kamal Madbouly in Cairo. The Saudi Ambassador to Egypt, Osama bin Ahmed Nugali, was also present.

The discussions focused on boosting bilateral trade, exploring opportunities in vital sectors in light of Saudi Vision 2030, and strengthening regional plans for transforming the area into a global logistics hub. Emphasis was placed on joint ventures, digitization in small and medium-sized enterprises, and addressing business challenges in free zones.

According to Saudi Press Agency, The event, held at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center, features over 15 countries, 25 specialized companies, and 50 brands dedicated to organic food production. "Biofach 2023" is recognized as one of the largest international specialized exhibitions for promoting and marketing investments in agriculture and organic products. It aims to connect investors, distributors, suppliers, and solution providers in the organic products industry globally. Dr. Suleiman Al-Khatib, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry for Agriculture, highlighted the exhibition's role in supporting the growing organic products sector in the Kingdom, as evidenced by the increasing local development in organic farming. Saudi Arabia to Host International Forum on Media Bias against Palestinian Cause

Jeddah - The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is set to host the International Forum on the Propaganda of Hatred and Violence in Media next Sunday in Jeddah, co-organized by the Assistant Secretariat for Corporate Communication in the Muslim World League (MWL) and the Union of OIC News Agencies (UNA).

According to Saudi Press Agency, The event will feature prominent figures including MWL Secretary-General Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, OIC Secretary-General Hussein Ibrahim Taha, and General Supervisor of Official Media in Palestine, Minister Ahmed Assaf. The forum addresses the issue of bias and misinformation in the media, particularly concerning the Palestinian cause. It will bring together leaders from Islamic and international news agencies, religious, intellectual, legal, and human rights figures, and leaders of international organizations. Discussions will focus on media bias and misrepresentation, with an emphasis on forming a joint international alliance against the spread of hatred and misinformation in media discourse.
