The President of the Republic receives an invitation from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to attend the Arab-Chinese Summit

Baghdad - President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, received an invitation from King Salman bin Abdulaziz, King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to attend the Arab-Chinese summit that will be held next month and aims to strengthen Arab -Chinese relations.

A presidential statement stated: "The President met today at Baghdad Palace, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Iraq, Abdul Aziz Al-Shammari, and discussed with him the bilateral relations linking Iraq and Saudi Arabia.

The president sent, through the Saudi ambassador, his greetings to the Saudi monarch, stressing his interest in making every effort to strengthen brotherly relations and historical friendship bonds between Iraq and the Kingdom.
