Saudi and Irish Ministers Discuss Digital Economy Collaboration in Riyadh

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia - Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Eng. Abdullah Alswaha, engaged in productive talks with Neale Richmond, Irish Minister of State for Business, Employment and Retail, focusing on enhancing collaboration in the digital economy and sharing expertise in research, development, and innovation.

According to Saudi Press Agency, During the meeting, they discussed the Kingdom's initiatives to bolster its digital capabilities, promote entrepreneurship, and attract investments in the communication and digital infrastructure sectors. The conversation also included strategies for cooperation in the digital economy, particularly in supporting 5G technologies like OpenRAN. Additionally, both ministers explored avenues for fostering the growth of emerging companies and capitalizing on investment opportunities within the digital economy and innovation sectors.
