KSrelief Concludes Voluntary Medical Project for Urological Surgeries in Mauritania

Nouakchott-- King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) concluded on Saturday the voluntary medical project for urological surgeries for adults in Nouakchott, the Republic of Mauritania, which was implemented from 22 to 30 December 2022.

The voluntary medical team of the KSrelief has performed 156 successful specialized surgeries.

The project comes as part of the voluntary medical projects, implemented by the KSrelief, to help individuals and families with low-income in the needy countries.

Saudi Tadawul Group Holding Co. Announces the appointment of the Chairperson of the Board of Directors, Vice Chairperson and the formation of committees emanating from the Board of Directors

Reference to the results of the Saudi Tadawul Group Holding Company (“the Group”) Ordinary General Assembly meeting held on Wednesday 28 December 2022, which included the election of the members of the Board of Directors for a new term starts on 02 January 2023 and for a period of three years ending on 01 January 2026.

The Group is pleased to announce the Board of Directors’ resolution dated 02 January 2023, which includes the appointment of the Chairperson of the Board of Directors, Vice Chairperson and the formation of committees emanating from the Board of Directors. Saudi Cable Company announces the latest developments for the Company’s announcement regarding its application for the opening of the financial restructuring procedure

Referring to Saudi Cable Company's announcement on 19/04/1444H corresponding to 13/11/2022 regarding the submission of its application for the opening of the financial restructuring procedure to Jeddah Commercial Court, presented by the legal representative of Bafakih and Nassief Attorneys and Counselors Company, Saudi Cable Company wishes to announce to the shareholders that the application for the opening of the financial restructuring procedure with the Court has been successfully registered on 09/06/1444H corresponding to 02/01/2023, and the request for financial restructuring procedure was transmitted to the 4th Circuit Commercial of Jeddah Commercial Court, and the date of the first session was set on 24/06/1444H corresponding to 17/01/2023.

Saudi Stock Exchange Main Index Ends Trading Higher at 10578 Points

Riyadh-- Saudi Stock Exchange's main index ended trading higher here today, gaining 31.67 points to close at 10578.34 points.

The total value of the trading reported was SAR 3.6 billion, while the toll of shares traded was 149 million, divided into over 290,000 deals.

The Saudi Parallel Market Index (NOMU) ended the day gaining 245.54 points, to close at 19,434.51 points, with a valuation of SAR 21 million and an overall tally of more than 400,000 stocks traded and divided into as many as 2,620 deals.

Copies of Holy Quran, Gifted by Custodian of Two Holy Mosques, Delivered to Senegal

Dakar-- The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia delivered here today 120,000 copies of the Holy Quran as a gift from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to the people of Senegal.

Published by Madinah-based King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Quran, the consignment includes various sizes and translations of Islam's holy book. The gift was delivered by Undersecretary of the Islamic Affairs Ministry Dr. Awwad bin Sabti Al-Enazi in the presence of Saudi Ambassador to Senegal Saad bin Abdullah Al-Nofaiee and representatives of the Islamic societies in Senegal.

In a speech to highlight the occasion, Al-Enazi said that this gift is an extension of the Kingdom's giving and message, based on the Holy Quran and the Sunnah. It also extends the bonds of amicability, Islamic brotherhood and heartfelt peace to the entire world, he said.

He affirmed the keenness of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to distribute the copies of the Holy Qur'an, adding that King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Qur'an is witnessing an exponential leap in the number of editions of the holy book reaching Muslims all over the world.

For his part, Ambassador Al-Nofaiee emphasized that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' gift to the Republic of Senegal embodies the great efforts made by the wise leadership to serve Islam, take care of the Holy Quran, and spread it to Muslims around the world, indicating that this gift reflects the Kingdom's relentless endeavor in this regard.

In turn, Dr. Mohammed Habibullah Si, Director General of Dar Al-Iman Institutes in Senegal, expressed profound pleasure to participate in this ceremony, hailing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's efforts in serving the Holy Quran and the Sunnah.

He also expressed his appreciation of and gratitude to the Saudi leadership for the care and attention it pays to everything that serves Muslims across the world, including providing copies of the Holy Quran to Islamic institutions, associations and mosques in Senegal.
