Marib– The Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY) inaugurated today two educational projects in Marib Governorate to support educational opportunities, increase the level of efficiency of educational institutions in the governorate and meet the increasing need for education in Marib, where the two projects included developing the University of Saba Region and establishing the Talented Complex.

Several officials attended the ceremony that was held on the occasion.

The educational projects contribute to increasing opportunities to join the University of Saba Region, providing a good educational environment, meeting the increasing need witnessed by the university and building more distinguished and prosperous communities.

The development project of the University of Saba Region in Marib includes establishing two new buildings with an administrative building and a building for 16 study halls, where the project is expected to serve 3,129 beneficiaries and students from Marib, Al-Jouf, Al-Baida and displaced people from neighboring governorates.

As for the Talented Complex project in Marib, it comprises a model complex of 12 classrooms and several facilities with educational labs for computer and chemistry, administrative offices, outdoor parks and sports fields, in a bid to provide a proper environment to develop creative people and encourage innovation, where the scheme is anticipated to serve 1,369 beneficiaries.
