The National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP), in collaboration with the Saudi Ports Authority and the Business France, recently organized the Saudi French Maritime Symposium in Al-Khobar governorate. The symposium was attended by France's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Ludovic Pouille, along with various government officials and representatives from the private sector of both countries.
The symposium served as a platform to illuminate the Kingdom's transition into a global logistics hub and to deliberate on several initiatives aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, including the Smart Ports initiative. Additionally, participants engaged in discussions encompassing topics such as sustainable maritime industry practices, the enhancement of the investment climate, improvements in transportation operations, and the exploration of commercial and investment opportunities between Saudi Arabia and France.
The primary aim of these discussions was to foster new potentials and promising opportunities between the two nations, enhance their bilateral communication, and establish partnerships founded on mutual economic benefits.
