Vienna, Prince Abdullah bin Khalid bin Sultan, the Kingdom's Ambassador to Austria and its permanent representative to the United Nations and international organizations in Vienna, stressed the need to take deterrent measures against Iran's violations and breaches of the nuclear agreement, which confirms the shortcomings of the agreement and the importance of a comprehensive international agreement on Iran's nuclear program.
This came at a speech he delivered at the session of the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) held during the period from 9-13 September 2019, following the reports of the Agency on Monitoring and Verification in the Islamic Republic of Iran in the light of Security Council Resolution No. (2231) of 2015.
The ambassador expressed the importance of a "comprehensive international agreement" on Iran's nuclear program, ensuring that it is prevented from acquiring nuclear weapons in any way, based on the need to work on everything that would reduce the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction in the Middle East.
