Riyadh, Mar 20, 2020, SPA -- President of the Human Rights Commission Dr. Awwad bin Saleh Al-Awwad has praised the comprehensive speech delivered by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to the citizens and residents on the territory of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
He highlighted the calamity that the world is suffering due to the outbreak of the new Corona pandemic (COVID-19) and the difficult period that the world is currently experiencing.
Dr. Al-Awwad also referred to the significant implications contained in the speech and the humanitarian spirit that His Majesty expressed towards humanity as a whole.
President of the Human Rights Commission commended the sense of responsibility expressed in the speech, as the Kingdom continues to take all precautionary measures to confront this pandemic and eliminate its effects with the help of God.
Almighty first, then by depending on its capabilities. This proves that the Kingdom places the preservation of human health at the forefront of its interests and priorities. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques emphasized our nation’s extreme keenness to provide the necessary medicines, food and living needs for citizens and residents living on our good land.
Besides, the King highlighted the continuing solidarity, cooperation, positive spirit, enhancement of individual and collective awareness, and compliance with the directives, instructions and guidelines issued by the relevant agencies in the face of this pandemic.
He noted the honest tone of the speech since the King demonstrated that the coming times will be even harder at the global level in the light of the efforts exerted to face the rapid spread of the Corona pandemic.
Finally, the President of the Human Rights Commission prayed to God Almighty to protect the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH the Crown Prince, the Kingdom, all nationals and residents living on its territory.
