Riyadh – The Saudi Economic Cities and Special Zones Authority recently hosted a delegation from the Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones in Oman. The visit focused on fostering cooperation, exchanging knowledge, and sharing expertise.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the delegation, led by Dr. Ali bin Masoud Al-Sunaidy, engaged in a series of meetings with Saudi authorities, including Minister of Investment and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Authority, Eng. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, and the Authority's Secretary-General, Nabil Khojah.
The Omani delegation's four-day visit included dialogues with various Saudi government and private sector stakeholders. Discussions revolved around infrastructure development in special economic zones, strategic investments, and developing targeted sectors in both countries. Meetings with representatives from the Saudi Fund for Development, the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, SABIC, and the Federation of Saudi Chambers were also part of the visit. Furthermore, the delegation participated in a roundtable meeting organized by the Saudi-Omani Business Council, focusing on investment opportunities and infrastructure improvements to enhance bilateral trade.
