Najran University, represented by the College of Medicine, participated in the Medical Training Forum in South Korea 2023, which was organized by the Saudi Cultural Mission (SACM) in Seoul from September 11-15, 2023, under the patronage of Saudi Ambassador to the Republic of Korea Sami Al-Sadhan.
Dean of the College of Medicine at Najran University, Dr. Muhammad Hanif, explained that the forum aims to enhance cooperation in health training between the Saudi Ministry of Education and Korean hospitals and universities in accordance with the standards of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS), which seeks quality training and development of health practitioners, and achieving the Health Sector Transformation Program of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
Hanif stressed that this participation represents an ideal opportunity to exchange experiences and knowledge with their counterparts in Korean universities, enhance scientific and training cooperation in health specialities, improve the level of medical education, and provide distinguished health services to the two countries.
The participating delegation, which included Saudi doctors from Najran University studying subspecialties in Korea, visited a number of Korean hospitals, medical centres and universities and learned about the latest technologies used in the fields of diagnosis and treatment.
