Riyadh, March 13, 2023, SPA — The Minister of Commerce, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority “Monsha’at”, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi honored here yesterday the winners of the Entrepreneurship World Cup, which is sponsored by Monsha’at, within the activities of the Biban 23 Forum.
The ceremony of honoring the winners took place in the presence of a number of entrepreneurs from around the world, where the Saudi White Helmet Company won the first place, while the NDR Medical project came in the second place, and the Hera Health project won the third place.
The competition aims to encourage entrepreneurs in various stages, such as the idea stage, the initial stage, and the stage of growth and expansion. This is to help participants launch, enhance and expand their projects, as the competition is the largest tournament of its kind in the world.
Before announcing the winners, the final stage of the qualifiers for the entrepreneurs took place, which consisted of several activities represented in presentations, dialogue sessions between international experts, and communication activities between the participants.
The top 100 companies from more than 50 countries around the world are competing for prizes worth $1 million.
Monsha’at, which is the organizer of the Entrepreneurship World Cup, has dedicated its efforts to supporting and empowering entrepreneurship to contribute to making positive change around the world.
Biban 23 Forum is one of the important activities that support the rapid development that the Kingdom is witnessing in the small and medium enterprises sector and entrepreneurship, and contributes to providing a stimulating environment in partnership with all enabling and supporting entities from the public and private sectors.
