Riyadh, Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij Al-Ibrahim Al-Sabah, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director General of Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), affirmed that a cooperation between the KUNA and the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) is fruitful and serves the two countries' media.
In a statement to KUNA during a visit to SPA, Sheikh Mubarak said the two agencies are in close and joint action to benefit their employees by developing their editorial and administrative skills, as well as achieving the objective of keeping pace with other developments in journalism.
"The distinctive technical and management development witnessed at SPA indicates professionalism, effort and continuous progress. The Kuwaiti-Saudi relations are deep-rooted in history, lineage and bound by common interests," KUNA chief said, adding that these relations enjoy the full support, and under the wise leadership of Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud.
