Riyadh– Saudi Ministry of Justice (MoJ) has launched a service enabling sending e-notices to litigants for remote attendance at videoconferencing hearings.
“An SMS is sent to the litigants, stating the hearing time. They log into the Najiz.sa portal and select the relevant case from the “judiciary services” tab, and register their remote attendance,” the MoJ explained, adding that the link for the session is given only after remote attendance is registered.
The ministry added that remote appearance could be confirmed no earlier than 15 minutes before the scheduled hearing time. Once verified, the remote attendance cannot be canceled.
The Ministry of Justice provides over 150 e-services through the Najiz.sa portal to increase clients’ satisfaction and save them time and effort.
