Riyadh, Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas.
Al-Riyadh and Al- Eqtisadiah newspapers reported in their editorials that Saudi Cup 2021, patronized by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, on behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud is an unprecedented global event in horse racing .
Saudi Cup 2021 is seen as the largest event in the history of equestrian sport in the world which attracts a whole slew of interested figures and investors, the paper added.
This event is one of oldest sports that has turned into an industry and an arena for cultural confluence and convergence and a professional field for competitions , the paper further added.
Saudi Cup for this season was marked by many qualitative leaps, especially as it is an integral part of Saudi Arabia’s 2030 vision and a transformation program accompanying this vision”, which targets developmental construction in all its aspects and fields, the paper concluded .
In another context, Al-Yaum newspaper reported in its editorial that the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, being led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, has exerted sustained efforts to protect its citizens and residents living in its territories from COIVD-19 pandamic without exception.
Such unprecedented and unremitting care including carrying out preventive and precautionary measures in addition to providing the vaccine has reflected a historical and firm approach in the prudent leadership’s strategies that make protecting human beings and preserving their rights above all considerations, the paper added.
In this regard, Ministry of Health announced that the launch of COIVD-19 vaccination centers will be expanded to include all regions of Saudi Arabia, as a continuation of its efforts to preserve the health and safety of citizens and residents and limit the spread of the virus, the paper concluded.
