Makkah, The General Department of Moderation and Intellectual Security in the Grand Mosque has suspended interactive educational screens that work with the touch feature, as part of precautionary measures being taken by the Presidency to prevent the emergence of the novel coronavirus.

Director of the General Department, Ali bin Hamid Al-Nafie indicated that this procedure aims to prevent and limit the spread of the novel coronavirus, and for the environment of the Two Holy Mosques to be free of any diseases so that their visitors can enjoy peace and tranquility.

He said that some digital content can be used remotely via the Presidency portal and fixed displays.
