GCC General Secretariat Signs MoU with Bangladesh

Manama, The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab States, Dr. Naif Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf, signed in the Kingdom of Bahrain today a joint memorandum of understanding with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, Abul Kalam Abdul-Moamen, on the sidelines of their participation in the two-day "Manama Dialogue 2022" forum, in its 18th edition.

The memorandum included strengthening cooperation between the two parties in various fields, especially the economic field and trade exchange, in order to achieve stability and support joint sustainable development efforts.

Dr. Al-Hajraf stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation with Bangladesh to serve common interests.

Also, during the signing ceremony of the memorandum, ways to enhance prospects for joint cooperation in various fields were reviewed, as well as the many and varied opportunities to enhance cooperation for the mutual benefit and interests of both sides.
