Riyadh, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced today the postponement of each of the Saudi-African and Arab-African summits, scheduled to be hosted by the Kingdom in the first quarter of 2020 to new dates to be determined later.

In a statement, the ministry affirmed that this postponement comes in line with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's keenness on taking precautionary measures to combat the new Coronavirus within framework of the international efforts in this regard as well as the measures recommended by the competent health authorities to reduce gatherings.

The ministry added that the decision was taken in coordination with the two regional organizations.
