GCC Secretary General condemns Houthi’s attacks against Saudi Arabia

Riyadh: Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Dr. Nayef Falah M. Al Hajraf has strongly condemned the Houthi terrorist group’s continued systematic attacks against Saudi Arabia.

 

The terrorist attack used missiles and drones against civilians and civilian installations in Jazan, Khamis Mushait, Taif, Yanbu, and Dhahran Al Janoub, in flagrant violation of international norms and laws.

 

The secretary general praised the high efficiency and continuous vigilance of the Saudi Air Defense Forces, stressing the solidarity of the GCC member states with Saudi Arabia against everything that targets its security, stability, and territorial integrity.

 

Dr. Al Hajraf called on the international community to take immediate and decisive measures to stop these aggressive actions targeting vital and civilian facilities and the security of Saudi Arabia.

Royal Directive to Extend Visas for Ukrainians in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh– In implementation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud’s royal directive, the General Directorate of Passports announced the extension of visas for Ukrainians in the Kingdom for humanitarian considerations, whether they are tourists or businessmen.

Extending visas for Ukrainians will be implemented without fees or fines.

Passports explained that the extension will be carried out automatically in cooperation with the National Information Center.

GCC Secretary-General: Council to Host Consultations Between Yemeni Parties in Riyadh on March 29

Riyadh– The Secretary-General of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab States Dr. Naif Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf confirmed that consultations between Yemeni parties will be held at the headquarters of the GCC General Secretariat in Riyadh from March 29 to April 7, 2022.

The consultations will be heldunder the auspices of the Council, he said.

He also pointed out that they will be held within the Council’s ongoing efforts aimed at ending the crisis in Yemen and bringing it to the stage of peace and national reconciliation, which meets the aspirations of Yemenis, in addition to restoring stability and ensuring decent living conditions for the Yemeni people.

Dr. Al-Hajraf further said in the press conference held at the headquarters of the GCC General Secretariat here today that Yemen is an integral part of its Arab and Gulf surroundings, and is linked with its neighbors by the unity and belonging, roots, geography, religion and lineage, looking forward to a promising future that will make these bonds stronger and deeper.

Attorney General Meets with Ambassador of Tajikistan to Saudi Arabia

Riyadh– Attorney General Sheikh Saud bin Abdullah Al-Mujib met here today with Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Akram Karimi, and his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, they reviewed a number of issues of common interest. They also discussed ways of cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Tajikistan in the fields of justice, as well as strengthening relations between the two public prosecution agencies in both countries.

Speaker of Shura Council Participates in Consultative Meeting of Speakers of Parliaments and Councils of Arab IPU 32nd Conference

Cairo– The speakers of the parliaments and councils of the Arab countries held a consultative meeting here today, on the sidelines of the meetings of the 32nd Conference of Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union (Arab IPU), with the participation of Speaker of the Shura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, who chaired the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s delegation participating in the conference.

During the meeting, the speakers of the parliaments and councils of the Arab countries reviewed the topics to be discussed in the 32nd Conference of Arab IPU, and the reports prepared by the Arab IPU general secretariat, its specialized committees, and its executive committee.

HRH Crown Prince Sends a Cable of Thanks to Emir of Kuwait

His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister, has sent a cable of thanks to Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait, on the occasion of HRH Crown Prince’s departure from the State of Kuwait after an official visit.
