Beirut: On Monday, Acting Director General of General Security, Brigadier General Elias Baissari, convened a meeting with ambassadors from the Nordic countries stationed in Lebanon. The group included Ambassador of Denmark Kristoffer Vivike, Ambassador of Sweden Ann Dismorr, Ambassador of Finland Anne Meskanen, and Ambassador of Norway Martin Ytteivik. According to National News Agency Lebanon, the dialogue encompassed the prevailing general situation and deliberated on ways to improve coordination between the General Directorate of General Security and their respective embassies
AMIN GEMAYEL BROACHES DEVELOPMENTS WITH KSA AMBASSADOR
Former President, Amin Gemayel, on Thursday welcomed in his office, KSA Ambassador to Lebanon, Waleed Bukhari, with whom he discussed the most recent developments at the internal, regional and international levels.
Gemayel saluted “the Kingdom, its monarch and crown prince, for its decades-long sincere support for Lebanon, despite the negative stances by some politicians,” adding, “There is no doubt that Lebanon is still in a dangerous square and needs its Arab and international friendships to enable it to overcome its unprecedented crisis.”
Ambassador Bukhari, in turn, said that his meeting with former President Amin Gemayel touched on vital dossiers and developments on the Lebanese and regional arena.
Ambassador Bukhari also underlined the Kingdom’s keenness on Lebanon’s security and stability.

Guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Program Settle in Mina
Pilgrims who are the guests of the “Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Program for Hajj and Umrah” from the families of the injured, martyrs and Islamic figures have completed the stoning of Jamrat al-Aqaba in accordance with the Sunnah of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
The pilgrims of the program performed the greatest pillar of Hajj by standing (wuqûf) in faith before Allah Almighty in Arafat, then they spent the last night in Muzdalifah and stoned today Jamrat Al-Aqabah amidst integrated services provided by the various governmental sectors.
It is worth mentioning that the program is under the supervision of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs.

GCC Secretary General commends Kingdom’s services to pilgrims and Umrah performers throughout its history
The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for the Arab States, Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf, has valued the great and appreciated efforts made by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to serve the holy sites, pilgrims and Umrah performers.
He praised the care accorded by the King and HRH Crown Prince for the service of the Two Holy Mosques, pilgrims and visitors to the Prophet’s Holy Mosque, and the sincere efforts made by the Kingdom to organize the Hajj season every year.
Dr. Al-Hajraf affirmed that serving the Two Holy Mosques is a great honor and responsibility that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has undertaken since the era of the late founder King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman, his sons, the Kings, until the era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
He extended his best congratulations to the King, HRH Crown Prince, the wise government and the Saudi people on the occasion of the blessed Eid Al-Adha and the Kingdom’s success in implementing the Hajj plans for the year 1443 and raising the level of services provided for pilgrims year after year to enable them to perform Hajj rituals in an atmosphere full of tranquility, faith and safety.

Minister of Islamic Affairs receives head of Pakistani Islamic Scholars Group
Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, Chairman of the Supreme Committee for the Ministry’s Works on Hajj, Umrah and Visit, Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh, received today at the Ministry’s headquarters in Mina, the head of the Islamic Scholars Group in the Republic of Pakistan, Sheikh Fadhl Al-Rahman.
The Minister stressed that the ministry is working in accordance with the directives of the wise leadership to provide the best services for pilgrims so that they can perform their rituals with ease and tranquility.
He praised the depth and strength of the historical and distinguished relations between the Kingdom and sisterly Pakistan, which stem from the ties of Islamic fraternity, stressing the ministry’s keenness to strengthen and develop cooperation with all Islamic societies in Pakistan to spread the approach of moderation, confront extremism and hatred and spread tolerance.
For his part, the Head of the Islamic Scholars Group in the Republic of Pakistan expressed his thanks and praise to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH Crown Prince for their efforts in caring for the affairs of Hajj and pilgrims and providing all support and assistance for them.

Worshippers perform Eid Al-Adha prayer throughout Kingdom
worshippers performed today the blessed Eid Al-Adha prayer in the Grand Holy Mosque, the Prophet’s Holy Mosque, and in various parts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
In Makkah, worshipers performed the prayer in the Grand Holy Mosque and led by imam and preacher of the Mosque, Dr. Abdullah bin Awwad Al-Juhani.
In Madinah, worshipers performed Eid Al-Adha prayer in the Prophet’s Holy Mosque. The prayer was attended by Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Madinah region.
In Riyadh region, Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh region, performed the prayer with the crowds of worshippers at Imam Turki bin Abdullah Mosque.
The prayer was also performed in various parts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
