HM King exchanges Eid congratulations with Saudi Governor of Eastern Region

Manama, May 1 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a telephone call today from Governor of the Eastern Region in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

 

They exchanged Eid Al Fitr good wishes, wishing both countries and peoples as well as the Arab and Islamic nations many happy returns and further growth and prosperity.

As Many as 88 Electronic Screens Equipped in the Grand Mosque to Guide and Educate Umrah Performers and Worshipers

Makkah– The Guidance Management System affiliated to the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque is broadcasting awareness and guidance messages around the clock, via 88 electronic screens inside the Grand Mosque and the surrounding squares to guide and educate Umrah performers and worshipers.

The awareness and guidance messages, included locating the important site at the Grand Mosque.

The Director of Guidance Management System Eng. Abdulaziz Al-Subhi said that the work is continuing through following up the electronic screens and adding awareness and guidance messages in several languages, including English and Urdu, in addition to Arabic, with the use of globally approved guiding symbols to facilitate providing information to beneficiaries visually.

London-based Islamic Cultural Center Announces Sunday as the Last Day of Current Month of Ramadan

London, Apr. 30, 2022, SPA — London-based Islamic Cultural Center as well as a host of grand Islamic centers in UK announced today that tomorrow, Sunday, is the 30th day of current holy fasting month of Ramadan and, accordingly, Monday is the first of blessed Eid Al-Fitr.

Dr. Ahmed Al-Dibyan said in a statement to SPA that, based on the announcement issued by the Supreme Court of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Islamic Cultural Center as well as the Central Mosque in London have decided that Monday is the first of Eid Al-Fitr, adding that the decision is followed by hundrends of Islamic mosques, centers and associations in the United Kingdom and Europe.

Saudi Deaf Athletics Team Leaves for Brazil

Riyadh– The Saudi Deaf Athletics Team, including 20 members of the technical and administrative staff as well as the players, left today for Brazil, in preparation for participating in the 24th Summer Deaflympics, which will be held from 1 to 15 May 2022.

The 24th Summer Deaflympics will witness the participation of more than 450 male and female athletes representing 60 countries.

KSrelief Distributes More Than 43 Tons of Food Baskets in Shabwa Governorate, Yemen

Shabwa, Yemen– The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) distributed yesterday 43 tons and 14 kilograms of food baskets to families in need in Shabwa governorate, Yemen, benefiting 7,236 individuals, as part of the Food Security Project.

This comes within the framework of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s keenness, represented by the KSrelief, to contribute to achieving food security for the Yemeni people and to meet the basic food needs of the most vulnerable and needy groups and the displaced in the Yemeni governorates.

KSrelief Distributes More Than 118 Tons of Ramadan Food Baskets in Taiz, Yemen

Taiz, Yemen– The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) distributed yesterday 118 tons and 449 kilograms of Ramadan food baskets in Taiz governorate, Yemen, benefiting 6,642 individuals, as part of the Ramadan feeding initiative for the year 1443 AH.

This comes as part of the Ramadan Feeding initiative presented by the KSrelief, which aims to distribute nearly 157,000 food baskets weighing more than 8,000 tons in 19 countries around the world during the month of Ramadan for the year 1443 AH.

It is noteworthy that the project aims to distribute 8,530 food baskets to the neediest groups in seven Yemeni governorates, benefiting 76,770 individuals.
