Vietnam’s daily COVID-19 infections hit new record of 922

 

— Vietnam’s health ministry reported 922 new coronavirus cases on Saturday, the highest daily total since the virus was first found in the country in January last year, Reuters reported.
Most cases were in the business hub Ho Chi Minh City, where restriction orders have been in place for the past four weeks.
Vietnam has recorded 19,043 infections overall and 84 fatalities.

1,148 New Coronavirus Confirmed Cases Detected in KSA

The Ministry of Health announced here today the latest statistics related to the Coronavirus developments in the last 24-hour across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which included detecting as many as 1,148 new confirmed cases against 1,222 recoveries, while the active cases rose to 12,199, including 1,364 in critical conditions.
The overall infections reported in the Kingdom stood at 491,612 against 471,550 recoveries.
As more 15 deaths were reported, the fatalities toll reached 7,862.
The ministry concluded by urging all people to speedily register on the application Sehhaty to obtain the vaccine to save the health and the wellness of the entire society, reasserting the importance of abiding by precautionary measures and applying the physical distancing to limit the spread of the Coronavirus.

Arab Parliament Condemns Terrorist Houthi Militia’s Attack on Hodeida

 

– The Arab Parliament has condemned terrorist Houthi militia’s two bobby-trapped boats’ attack on Sulaif town, in Hodeida governorate, Yemen.
However, the forces of Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen have destroyed them and foiled the Houthi hostile attack.
In a statement announced here today, it also condemned the continuation of the terrorist Houthi militia’s threat to the world navigation and trade routes in the Southern Red Sea, posing dangerous threat to the regional security and navigation safety in the Red Sea, calling on the international community to immediately and urgently move to put an end to such repeatedly committed terrorist attacks.

A New Saudi Oil Shipment Arrives in Mahra, Yemen

– A new shipment of the Saudi oil arrived here today, constituting a part of the Saudi oil products donation presented to the Republic of Yemen.
The shipment included as many as 5500 metric tons of Diesel to feed the power generation stations in the Mahra governorate.
As many as 4000 metric tons of the donation were transported by the sea against 1500 tons transported by land.
Such donation would meet the monthly needs of the governorate.

Jordan Reports 222 New Coronavirus Infections

Jordan reported as many as 222 new infections of the Coronavirus in the last 24 hours, raising the total number of cases to 752,617.
While the total number of recoveries rose to 736,431, following extra 502 recoveries, the fatalities tally reached 9,769, as 9 new deaths were added.

Iraq Reports 5,375 New Coronavirus Infections

Iraq reported 5,375 new Coronavirus infections in the last 24-hour, raising the total cases to 1,365,211.
New 25 deaths reported, brought up the total fatalities to 17,281, while extra added 5,094 recoveries put the recovery overall at 1,260,297.
